Hello everyone!
I was just wondering if there are any GOOD poi forums out there? You know forums with a decent amount of activity. Although I do like homeofpoi just not enough people use it and if I ask a question it can go unanswered for days. Domorepoi is still down... Are there any other communities out there someone can suggest?
If not we should work on creating one! There is only one poi community, the world, and we should have one meeting place no? =)

Re: Poi fix?
Mon, October 19, 2009 - 1:43 AMyeah, but I have a feeling online participation will be sporadic no mater how awesome the website gathering place becomes. internet activity comes from large amounts of people who are staring at the screen world during time we could otherwise be using to explore.
videos sites and local spin jams are where it's at in my experience. for the time being anyways. that could change if there is a reason for it to.

Sun, October 25, 2009 - 9:09 AMIf you are in San Fran you should look up the VuLcaN crew in Oakland. they do frequent spin jams. You could then get in PERSON info from some of the best. -

Mon, October 26, 2009 - 3:32 PMI know! I've spoken and met Noel once or twice about the wednesday night spin jams. Thing is with my schedule its hard to make it up to Oakland those nights. But one of these days I will make it up there to spin with them all. They do some amazing work from what I've seen. =) Thanks for the info though guys. -

Re: Poi fix?
Fri, October 30, 2009 - 4:27 PMI'm sure if you dropped by on another day SOMEONE would be spinning, or at least check out their workshops dates, a good chance to meet a lot of spinners all at once. What can I say, i learn from human to human relation more than computers. But at least I go tribe when that is not possible.
good luck
