Sun, May 17, 2009 - 9:43 PMYeah - this is pretty amazing. Definitely the best tech poi video I've seen in a long time. I copied it and converted it to WMV using Ask & Record Toolbar so I could play it in slow motion and figure out what's going on.
My favorite parts (and lame attempts to explain them):
2:01 - same time move sneaking hand and poi past biceps
2:20 - bf hand wrap and a hybrid-like follow
2:41 - another interesting wrap move
2:56 - some sort of weird stall-on-string wind-up move
4:42 - CAP to corkscrew to CAP
5:32 - nice double horizontal stall move
7:23 - CAP to bicep stall
7:59 - antispin hybrid with an upstall
8:39 - isolation into hand wraps (sweet)
9:14 - hybrids moving in a circle
9:29 - antispin flower throw into a polyrhythmic goofy flower
10:46 - bf crossers -> double horizontal stalls
11:03 - btb weave to elbow wrap trap
And the part where Mom comes in is pretty funny too...
Maybe Alien Jon can computer simulate some of these???
